About Elizabeth

I write the kind of small towns you’d move to if the winters weren’t quite so long — the ones where everyone knows your business, half of them are trying to feed you, and the man next door is infuriating right up until, somehow, he isn’t.

My books are clean and closed-door, which is a polite way of saying the tension is all still there; I just have the good manners to shut the door before things get interesting. On this side of it you’ll find grumpy-sunshine banter, found family, second chances, a dog who’s smarter than everyone, and a happily-ever-after you can see coming a mile off and enjoy every step of anyway.

Pull up a chair. There’s coffee on, and it’s scalding.
